The 1-2-3 system in promoting a healthy weight THROUGH MORINGA FROM ZIJA PRODUCTS

1) Nutrition
Provide the nutrition your body needs each day, preferably in the morning. This will allow you to more easily convert the food you eat into energy and not fat.

2) Suppression
Suppress your caloric intake throughout the day. This is done to ensure that an abundance of calories isn't directed down the fat pathway. Because even though we may have our nutrition our body needs, if we eat too much or body will still store the fat.

WEIGHT MANAGEMENT SYSTEM - PATHWAY #1 NUTRITION BY DR. JOSHUA PLANT

In the picture I attempt to show that when we consume calories, those calories have one of two pathways to move through. These two pathways are outlined as (A) and (B) in the picture. In pathway (A), calories can be converted into energy. This is the energy that we can use to run, think, and ultimately is the energy that we also refer to as metabolism. For reaction (A) to go forward, nutrients are required. For example, many B-Vitamins are responsible for converting carbohydrates into glucose, which in turn enters into the cell to be included into the Citric Acid Cycle. The Citric Acid Cycle then converts the cellular glucose into cellular Adenosine Tri-Phosphate (ATP), which is required for most energetic reactions in our cell.

When nutrients are scarce, pathway (B) is the predominant route of calories. In this pathway calories are converted into glycerides and stored as fat in adipose tissue. So even though we may be consuming a lot of calories, when we are starving for nutrition, we are unable to convert those calories into energy.

Therefore, to begin any weight management regimen it is vital to supply our body with the nutrition it needs. When our body has the nutrition it needs, this will "grease" pathway (A), giving us energy from the calories we consume and thereby limiting the conversion of the calories into fat.

Nutrients should be natural, because when we consume artificial nutrients (e.g. multi-vitamins), our body doesn't know how to properly respond to those nutrients. To see more on this topic, refer to a my old Facebook posts comparing natural nutrition versus synthetic nutrition.

Lastly, it is best to provide nutrition to our body in the morning, so that as we consume our calories throughout the day, the nutrients are presents to help facilitate them down pathway (A).
